Only Near-Delivery “Approved Used” Cars Left in Australian Showrooms

With production of Jaguar’s combustion models now finished, Australian retailers are left with only “Approved Used” vehicles showing up to 50 km on the odometer-cars that are not formally classed as new despite minimal mileage.

The final Jaguar built with an internal combustion engine will be a black F-Pace SVR fitted with a V8, which is set to join the collection of the Jaguar Heritage Trust.

Australian Sales Fall to a 29-Year Low

Jaguar’s sales performance in Australia has slumped to 520 vehicles in 2025, the marque’s weakest annual result in 29 years.

The all-electric I-Pace is no longer available there as a new vehicle, reflecting the brand’s changing strategy as it resets its electric range and pricing.

Dealers Expected to Rely on Land Rover in the Interim

Until Jaguar’s next chapter arrives, dealerships are expected to lean heavily on Land Rover business. Land Rover recorded 8,339 vehicle sales, providing the volume that Jaguar currently lacks in the market.

New Electric Jaguars to Target the Equivalent of Around A$300,000

Jaguar’s forthcoming EV models are expected to be priced at around A$300,000 in Australia, signalling a move into a more exclusive bracket.

For context, UK pricing is cited at roughly £117,000–£120,000, with flagship versions rising to about £150,000.

Debut Planned for Summer 2026, European Deliveries in Early 2027

Jaguar is expected to unveil its next electric model range in summer 2026, with deliveries in Europe slated for the first half of 2027.

Jaguar Australia has confirmed the new EV line-up will come to the local market, though it has not yet provided an Australian launch timetable.
