The XF Electric has been singled out by industry experts for combining a smaller environmental footprint with strong day-to-day performance and improved driver comfort.
Judges Focused on Innovation, Sustainability and Practical Use
According to the assessment panel, participants were measured against four main criteria: innovation, efficiency, environmental performance and ease of operation. The experts concluded that the XF Electric stands out for balancing reduced impact on the environment with operational effectiveness and a comfortable driving experience.
Electric Powertrain Options and Driving Range
The model is offered with PACCAR EX-D1 and EX-D2 electric motors, with outputs ranging from 170 to 350 kW. Depending on the vehicle’s specification, its driving range is reported to exceed 500 km.
Cobalt- and Nickel-Free Battery Chemistry
The XF Electric uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries that contain no cobalt or nickel. The battery system is designed to support charging to 100% without compromising long-term durability, the experts said.
