Artificial intelligence has stopped being a distant lab promise and has properly entered corporate routines. In just a few months, tools nobody had heard of started showing up in meetings, reports, customer service and campaign creation. On paper, the gains are obvious. In practice, AI exposes deep cracks in company culture and opens up a new kind of conflict between those who lead and those who deliver.
A revolution that excites the top and worries the middle
For many executive teams, AI has become shorthand for competitive advantage. It helps cut costs, speed up decisions and automate repetitive tasks. In pressured markets, that combination is hard to resist. Entire strategies now revolve around “becoming an AI-first business”.
